While a campaign is open, suppliers send you lines through an online grid or an Excel workbook. You watch them arrive on the campaign's Overview and Received tabs, and chase anyone who has not started.
How suppliers submit
Suppliers click Add lines on the campaign and pick a path each time. They can mix both paths, and each submission adds lines rather than replacing earlier ones.
| Path | Best for |
|---|---|
| Online grid | A few lines, or a block pasted from a spreadsheet. The grid saves a draft as they type. |
| Excel workbook | Many lines at once. The supplier fills in the workbook offline, uploads it, checks how it was read, and then submits. |
Both paths use the campaign's intake form and the same checks. To see the workbook your suppliers get, open Setup & forms and click Download generated Excel template. For the supplier's steps, see the supplier guide.
Watch submissions arrive
| Where | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Overview | The Suppliers table: each supplier's state (Invited, Saved, or Submitted), its line count, and its last activity. |
| Received | Every line as it is filed, with each form field as a column. You can filter and sort, but you decide only after the close. |
| Report | Participation, lines received, and counts for each supplier. |
| Suppliers & access | What each contact's suppliers have submitted. While the campaign is open, the Remind button emails the contacts of suppliers with nothing submitted. |
For reminders that send on a schedule, see Milestones.
What the form checks
A line cannot be submitted until every required field is filled and every value fits the field's type and rules. Suppliers see the problem cell in red, with messages such as UPC must be 12 digits or Promo Type must be one of: TPR, Ad, Display. To reduce errors, give fields help text, set rules where a value has a known shape, and add any dropdown option suppliers keep trying to type. See Intake forms.
Good to know
- Until the close, suppliers can edit or withdraw any line. A withdrawn line stays on Received, struck through.
- At the deadline, the campaign closes on its own. If you set the deadline rule to Accept late, suppliers can still add lines, and each one carries a Late flag on Received.
- If a supplier submits the same line twice, the second line's page says Duplicate. The supplier is warned too, but not stopped.
- Suppliers attach files on a line's page, against a file field in the form. A file downloads only after its malware scan finishes.
- After the close, a supplier needs your permission to change a line. See Invite suppliers.
