What LumoSheet does
Who does what, how a campaign moves from Draft to Complete, and where to find things on the screen.
3 min read
LumoSheet collects line items from suppliers in one form, by one deadline. A buyer publishes the form, suppliers fill it in online or in an Excel workbook, and the buyer accepts or rejects each line in one table.
Who does what
| Role | What they do |
|---|---|
| Buyer | Sets up campaigns, invites suppliers, and decides each line. Also called a Campaign Manager. |
| Supplier | Fills in the form for their own brand and sees only their own lines. |
| Broker | A supplier contact who works for several brands and submits for each one separately. |
| Observer | Reads every campaign in the workspace and changes nothing. |
How a campaign runs
Every campaign moves through four stages. The stage shows as a word beside the campaign's name.
Draft
The buyer names the campaign, sets the deadline, builds the form, and lists the suppliers. Suppliers can't see a draft.
Open
The buyer presses Open campaign, which sends the invitations. Suppliers submit and can change their lines until the deadline.
Review
At the deadline the campaign closes itself and supplier editing locks. The buyer accepts or rejects each line, or asks the supplier for changes.
Complete
Decisions reach suppliers by email, one message per brand. The campaign is complete once no line waits on a decision or a detail form.
Find your way around
| Where | What you find there |
|---|---|
| Home | What needs your attention today. |
| Campaigns | Every campaign you take part in. |
| Suppliers | The supplier directory and each supplier's contacts. Not shown to suppliers. |
| Library | Saved intake forms and milestone plans, with the email log and audit trail below them. Not shown to suppliers. |
| The bell | Your notifications, with a count of the unread ones. |
| Help | This wiki. |
| Your name | The account menu: Settings for your timezone, number and date format, and email summary, then Sign out. A broker also picks a Brand filter here. |
The rail on the left holds Home, Campaigns, Suppliers, and Library. Suppliers see Home and Campaigns. The bell, Help, and your name are in the top bar. All times show in your own timezone, which you set in Your nameSettings.
